It takes a lot of work, patience, time, dedication and love to choose a career that involves giving treatment to people. I Am Sofia, a licensed physiotherapist and physical aesthetics. I enjoy being immersed in continuous training in holistic practices to enhance the natural beauty that comes from the inside out. As a physiotherapist, I am very familiar with the vibration of quartz, the piezoelectric effect and other terms of the scientific basis for most of the treatments that have been very trendy in the holistic field - which is beautiful to amplify the awareness of what really means healing and being healthy: to include the physical, mental and spiritual body into account. I have designed unique facial and body treatments *rituals* based on what I have learned through my academic background and practice over the last 14 years. All of the rituals combine electric frequencies, crystal tools and sound instruments with natural handmade products from our brand @sofisoaps The use of electrical instruments allows me to work not only on the skin but also treat subcutaneous tissues in the lymphatic system, muscles, and circulation. The blending of all these elements in a well-thought sequence makes every treatment a genuine wellness experience that goes beyond our physical body and awakens our inner healing. I have been living in Ojochal for the last two years and have had the pleasure to meet the Goddes and creator of Akka Institute Sophie and her beautiful space that perfectly reflects all the love she has for nature and feminine power. She transcended several chronic diseases, and eventually cancer in 2017, and now supports others to do the same. In her practice, she works with leading-edge and life supporting technologies, empowering you to heal and integrate all bodies. She was born in South-Africa, and felt guided for many years, to be in Costa Rica. She moved here with her beloved, in January 2022, after living in Bali for one year. Ojochal felt just right!
